Education & Experience

Maegan is currently in her final semester of law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law where she is a Hatton Sumners Scholar and has received the CALI Award, which recognizes the student earning the top grade in the class, in 11 courses. Maegan is a staff editor of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and a student member of the Federal Bar Association and the William J. Holloway Inn of Court. Since beginning law school, Maegan has clerked at Harrison & Mecklenburg, Inc. as well as a large law firm in Oklahoma City. Maegan looks forward to joining Harrison & Mecklenburg, Inc as an associate after she passes the bar.

Maegan received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in December of 2017, graduating summa cum laude. While at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Maegan was named the 2017 Accounting Student of the Year. While completing her undergraduate degree, Maegan worked as an intern at accounting firms in Weatherford and Kingfisher, performing bookkeeping services and completing income tax returns.


Maegan was born and raised in Kingfisher, Oklahoma where she grew up on a farm and worked wheat harvest at Wheeler Brothers Grain Co. for seven summers. She just bought her first home in Kingfisher and looks forward to becoming more involved in the community once she graduates and passes the bar. In her free time, Maegan enjoys spending time with her family, her friends, and her dog Case. Maegan attends the First United Methodist Church of Kingfisher, where she serves as a member of the Finance Committee.
