Jared Harrison

Jared Harrison is a shareholder with Harrison & Mecklenburg, Inc, practicing primarily in real estate, oil and gas, estate planning and administration and commercial law. He also is in charge of keeping the office running by taking care of all technology related issues.

Professional Experience

Jared was admitted to practice in Oklahoma in 2007. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Kingfisher County Bar Association. Jared also has experience in building abstracts and as a licensed title insurance agent for First American Title Insurance Company.

Education

Jared received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University in 2004. He completed his legal education at the Oklahoma City University School of Law and received his law degree in 2006. He also holds an abstractor's license and title insurance license from the State of Oklahoma.

Personal

Jared was born and raised in Kingfisher County. Hard work and dedication were instilled in him at a young age while helping on his family’s farm, where he returned to live after law school. Jared and his wife Jessica, an abstractor and title insurance agent, have two sons, Myles and Finley, and enjoy spending time with family and friends. While going to college, Jared worked as a Disc Jockey for Eskimo Joe's Road Crew and as Assistant Information/Technology Director for Stan Clark Companies, and while attending law school he worked for Apple Computer as a Mac Specialist, all of which helped expand his attention to customer service. Also while at OSU, Jared was a member of FarmHouse Fraternity, the OSU Marching Band and the OSU Basketball Spirit Band. In 2001, Jared was honored to be selected as a White House Intern and served in that capacity from August to December of 2001. In his free time, Jared enjoys testing the latest Apple gadgets, attending Oklahoma State sporting events and playing golf. Jared is currently serving as the President of the Oklahoma Bar Association Real Property Section, President of the Kingfisher Rotary Club and President of the Kingfisher County Development Foundation. He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce from 2007 to 2010 and the Kingfisher Educational Foundation Board of Directors, where he has served as president. Jared is currently serving City Attorney for the City of Kingfisher and sits Kingfisher Ordinance Committee that reviews and amends the City Code. He and his family attend the Kingfisher First United Methodist Church.
