Emily joined Harrison & Mecklenburg, Inc. in April 2017, practicing
primarily in real estate, land titles and probate.
Emily received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Oklahoma State
University in 2002. Emily graduated from the University of Oklahoma College
of Law in 2013 with highest honors and was elected to the Order of the
Coif. During law school, Emily served as the Managing Editor for the
Oklahoma Law Review. Emily received the National Order of Scribes Award, the Julian C. Monnet
Memorial Fund Scholarship for Best Appellate Brief and the Frank C. Love
Memorial Award for Outstanding Paper. She also received academic achievement
awards for the highest grade in Legal Research & Writing I & II,
Property, Professional Responsibility, Secured Transactions and Immigration Law
Prior to attending law school, Emily worked for the Oklahoma Department
of Human Services and the Hal Smith Restaurant Group. Emily grew up in
Okarche, Oklahoma where she currently lives with her husband Kenny and son Cody.
